Sewing is unifying because we all benefit from it. Every piece of clothing was made through the work of someone’s hands. It is a timeless skill that has been often disregarded. The difference in value between art and craft is usually determined by economic or social status. I want to eliminate this divide and make art accessible to everyone. So I make art anyone can afford and enjoy. Using fabric from a curtain I found in a thrift store makes it possible to create unique sustainable pieces that are affordable and relatable to as many people as possible. I make art to unite people.
